Cold storage
Cold Storage has an important place in extending the storage life of the products and preserving their natural properties without deterioration.
Materials at risk of premature spoilage, such as agricultural products, bakery products, aquatic products, medicine and medical products; from the first stage,
They must be preserved in Cold Storage and standards until the last stage, thus starting from their production, until they are consumed.
Cold Storage is an area that allows the product to be preserved at low temperatures, frozen or low temperatures.
The purpose of designing these warehouses is to maintain the appropriate temperature and humidity balance according to the product. Thus, the products are economical for a long time.
can be stored in healthy conditions.

What is Cold Storage?
Many different products can be stored with cold storage. Different food products can be stored, such as fruits and vegetables, meat products, dairy products and fish.
These products are products that are affected by the temperature and humidity balance of the environment they are in. While temperature change triggers the reproduction of micro-organisms,
The moisture loss of the product may reduce its quality and cause weight loss. Therefore, both temperature and humidity levels should be monitored in the cold storage.
To achieve this, industrial cooling devices and humidification systems are used.
What are the Features of Cold Storages?
They are special rooms in which the air conditions in the Cold Storage are constantly monitored and insulated so that there is no air exchange with the outside.
Thanks to the insulated parts used, it is not affected by the climatic conditions outside. The air inside is provided to reach all surfaces and the entire tank equally.
The cold room can provide cooling between 15 degrees and -40 degrees depending on the product to be stored. Cold storages are classified according to these temperature values;
- Cool Storage: Between 8-15 degrees,
- Cold Storage: Between 2-8 degrees,
- Refrigerator Storage: -4 to 2 degrees,
- Frozen Storage: 0 to -25 degrees,
- Shocking: -25 to -40 degrees
According to the product to be stored, the cold room temperature values are adjusted and the products are stored in the most ideal conditions.
Food products are hygroscopic products. They exchange moisture with their environment. Therefore, an industrial humidification device is used in the cold storage.
